New Acquisition Joins Genuine Cable Group and EIS

EIS, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), has acquired Empire Wire and Supply (Empire), headquartered in Rochester Hills, MI on April 1, 2017.
Empire is a leading distributor of network, electrical, automation and safety products, as well as an innovative provider of custom cable assemblies. In addition to Rochester Hills, Empire services its North American customer base from locations in Grand Rapids, MI, Cincinnati, OH and Ontario, Canada.
